Sala Arun's nine air-conditioned rooms feature parquet floors, dark-wood furnishings, and private balconies with direct views of either the Temple of Dawn or Wat Po. Each room includes a flat-screen TV, DVD player, minibar, safe deposit box, and tea/coffee facilities. The bathrooms are constructed with Sino-Portuguese tiles and include shower facilities.
Dining and Bars
The Bitter Deck restaurant serves Italian, French, and Thai cuisine with grilled meats and seafood specialties. Breakfast includes egg choices, juices, breads, and yoghurts. The Eagle Nest rooftop bar on the fifth floor offers cocktails with views across the river and Ratanakosin Island. Housed in an 80-year-old Chinese shophouse opposite Wat Arun, the hotel is 100 meters from the Temple of the Reclining Buddha. It's a 5-minute walk to Wat Po, 10 minutes to the Grand Palace and Temple of the Emerald Buddha, and 350 meters from Sanam Chai MRT station. The Flower Market is a 5-minute walk, while Khaosan Road is a 10-minute drive away.
